weight matters

Day four/week one of the weight watchers diet...
I am learning that I don't make poor choices on what I eat for meals. I do make poor choices of what to snack on. Junk food is my enemy. Paying attention to what I eat has been a rather eye opening experience. As has balancing my checkbook. I think perhaps that working right next door to a grocery store has had a bad effect on my eating habits.
I can have sugar as long as I allow for that in my points. I can have the things I want to eat, like pizza, as long as I don't overdo it. Paying attention and knowing that I'm going to have to write everything down has made a big difference in my choices.

Date: 2005-04-11 05:07 pm (UTC)I suspected that you didn't eat that badly and the great thing about WW is that you don't really have to change what you eat. You just need to adjust how much you eat of what you eat. It has certainly changed my outlook on food. I think in points now. And it's so much easier then trying to add up calories and fat grams and all that. WW has made it a little too easy sometimes. :)
