fabric whoring

In addition to the computer, I have ordered samples of "cross shot" dupioni that I am interested in buying for the dress I need to make. Most of them are shades of blue but there are a couple reds in there. I'm really excited to see them. You can't really tell what color they are on screen so I wanted to handle them. Compare to what I have. So I have 6 different samples of 1/8 of a yard of fabric winging their way to me. What does one do with 1/8 of a yard of fun colored silk? :D Have fun of course.
