hypatia42I had a polyp ripped out of me today. Its not as bad as it sounds. Not nearly as bad as the last time...s I have had it done. Not putting silver in me helped immensely in the not feeling like shit category.
Second opinion dr is pretty freakin awesome. Very gentle and clearly communicative. Moreso than I expected given where the referral was from. She is actually on board with a hysterectomy. Gave me all of my options and two possibilities as to what might be the cause of the problem, one of which I did not hear from the first dr.

-adenomyosis
The latter is the one that I hadn't heard of and she seems to think it is the more likely of the two given the Sx. Also less likely to respond to ablation Tx.
I am ok with eviction. Its what I have been saying all along. Not super happy about having surgery at all but at least I would know for sure that I cannot have this issue again. I'll have all new issues! Ones I cannot even imagine right now.
The decision has not been made for sure. I have a couple of weeks to think about it. Follow-up is scheduled though. She is on board with the "get this shit dealt with" timeframe.
