hypatia42Weigelas and azaleas anf flowring quince are blooming here. I didn't notice til this trip how different the bird sounds are. I've 'known' that there are different birds that live here and in MN but I never sat down and noticed the difference.
Overheated again today. Not as bad as yesterday. Glad to be going home tomorrow. It will be good to get back to my own bed. You know, have a prayer of sleeping well. The girl gets around so muc easier here though. I almost feel bad about taking her home. If I thought for a minute that she wouldn't mind being left here more than she liked getting around easier I would let her go and finish out her days here where it wasn't so hard on her body. She wouldn't standfor it thouh.
We're sittin outside now. She's "splorin" the front yard. I've had to chase her away from the oil pan and the under-carriage of the car twice now... Playing jungle cat in the flower beds is mostl of th time less toxic.
Working tomorrow night after the drive. The sprain is livable so long as I don't put tenis shoes on.
Plans continue to evolve for the summer's travels/plans. I mnaged to get a hug from Mr. Smith. That is a first in a long time. Looking forward to his visit. L comes out for NADWcon just after and that is going to be so much fun we are going to need recovery time. Not ure ho it will work out but I wanna go hangliding for my birthday(ish).
