morning update, *ramble warning*

Four hours of sleep later I'm beginning to wonder if the only reason I can sleep is the pain pills last that long and so I can relax enough to do so. I don't want this to be the case but the math, she does not lie.
So I got up at 5:30 today after laying there trying to get back to sleep for 30 minutes. Something about bird song wakes my brain I think. Gentle rain was falling and the birds were singing up the sun. My body is not so happy with this state of things but my mind is soaring. Huh, felt this way last night too. We took a long bike ride(long for me) and I was exhilarated when we got home. Sore as hell but feeling good in spite of it. Meh.
So anyway, I got up and cooked the mini quiches I didn't get to last night. They've got about 15 minutes left on their timer. I could probably cook other things while its so cool out but I'm sitting on a foot stool in the kitchen instead. Writing here to avoid waking the Honey. That would be wrong on so many levels. Just because I can't sleep doesn't mean he shouldn't. For all the times he has let me sleep when he had to get up and get ready for his day, I can make sure that breakfast is ready for him when he does get up.
I've read Bad Machinery, which is a sassy little webcomic but that wasn't the one I was trying to find when I went looking. I was looking for Scary Go Round. With a little poking I found it and can read through that one. I think I like the ones that have an end. That way I don't really have to keep all that story in my head until the next page comes out. RSS feeds are really nice for that though. Mebbe I should see if there is one for some of my other comics.
Damn, I'm hungry. Its a good thing those quiches will be done soon.
I started the process of packing for FSG yesterday. This means that I have a pile of odds and ends that I don't want to forget at home when we go. Things like clothes and sunscreen are easy. I already have shampoo and the like there, though I do need to remember my soap container as I ran out last time. No, I'm talking about the costume pieces that I've pulled together to spin in and for the potential photo shoot that I've been approached about. I have my leather halter top! That's already in the pile. It is very exciting. So much so that it may require its own stanza. Coffee bricks and my insulated cup and the dark chocolate syrup I found that L can eat and not go insane. Percolating on the moka coffee maker. Not as much coffee but it is stronger. I found Brazilian coffee grounds at Holy Land Cafe. Mmmm, Angel would be proud.
Leather Halter! OMG. So softy. So comfy. Fit just like I need it to. I hope that I designed the thing such thatif when I lose weight it will continue to fit. It should. There is only so much I can lose in rib size.
Ah, fritatta. I had some egg mixture left over and some bacon that was extra. I poured them both into a very small pyrex dish. I'm glad I remembered those things can be baked. Its exactly what I needed this morning.
Have a beautiful day everyone.
