I went to Galveston about a yer and a half ago with two friends and the Honey. The two friends and I flew in a four seater plane the whole way. The pilot friend made it a point to shower whenever we got anywhere to "clean off the travel" and get into the right mindset. I may need to adopt that practice here. Exhaustion dealt with, I feel really icky and need to clean off the travel.

A shower is a good system reset in most any circumstance.

Not a bad idea. I do similar things from time to time - though I think we've established my personal ick threshold as different from yours.
