reading or avoidance

hypatia42Yeah, its 1:30. AM kind of 1:30. I should have been in bed a long time ago but M being home for over a month is catching up with me. There is no worse time of year this could have happened. I read a lot between Imbolc and Ostara. I have never been able to tell if I'm avoiding or just turning inward. Either way I'm much more quiet and introverted during this time of year than any other. *snort* People have actually asked what's wrong. I don't have anything to back this up but in a yearly cycle I think Adonis dies somewhere near now. It's an odd head-space this.
I made candles the past two days. Planning on doing it some more "today" after I wake up. Plan to loved ones in the morning. Avoiding the throat hurting thing some more too. I need to kick this thing.
Did I mention that I would likely be on the computer more once the Honey left again? Voila! He's gone and here I am talking into the web at 1:30 in the dark and cold. Go to bed you idjit. Don't turn into his cat. ...his cat has a fur coat, not such a bad thing in this weather. She's got it pretty cushy too. Though if I have to actually turn into a cat I'd prefer to turn into mine. Much more sleek and intelligent. Knows how to get what she wants when she wants it. *hehe* 'Cept glaring at me for hours hasn't made me go to bed. She's not so good at that. Knowing when I should she's good at. Not so with the making me do it.
Headed to NJ at the end of the month. Maybe the youngin will be happier about it not being four months... I had to take a step back and recognize that four months to a four year old is a very long time. Looking forward to seeing her though. I forsee story time in my future. Not sure who else I'll be seeing. Requests accepted I guess.
Missing KC peeps. No clue when I'll be back there. My hair says it cannot wait until Labor Day. :)
My sister came through surgery fine and seems to be in less pain as of right now. She elected to have several of her cervical vertebra fused due to bulging disks. Lots of pain all the time. I hope she is in the 2% that this surgery helps.
