Home. Lunch with the Honey today. Movie in the park with him last night. Spiderwick Chronicles. I want to read the books now.

Napping in my future.

Chiro intern says I am the most marked progress he has seen/treated. My low back is better than he has ever seen it. A gal in class yesterday who is taking reflexology says she thinks the point that I have permenantly stimulated is the lumbar spine. Hooray for therapeutic piercing!

Hooray, indeed! What/where are you pierced that it had that effect?

Inquiring minds and all that! :)

Helix. Still haven't got myself in front of a digital camera for documentation.

That is very cool, I had no idea that was the point for lumbar.

I think they all live over at [livejournal.com profile] faedaughter's house. I've been meaning to since I saw it the first time. I'm curious how the story line plays out over the books or if there is more than just hte story in the movie.

My boy loves those books. He just watched the movie today and was very excited because the faeries are REAL. :)

Therapeutic piercing is actually something I've several questions about. If you know of someone I can discuss this with I would looove an introduction.

This was a happy accident for me. I'm not even sure what it is as I just made up the term for myself.

We discussed it one day in class and I was curious as to how /if piercing affected the meridians the same as acupuncture and how it all worked...i.e. whether you could treat a chronic problem with a piercing as opposed to continual treatments. I'm going to have to start getting back into researching. Seriously fascinating stuff!!! Let me know how it works for you.

Will do.

Functionally, it feels like balance has been given to the area and now I have to work on the muscle support and strengthening. Before it was locked up and guarded. Opening the area seems to have underlined how weak it is. not in a bad way, just informationally. "Here is an area you need to work on and the openness to do so."

I'd say so yes. Though with reflexology its more regional than acupuncture. Still want to ask in the morning what point that would be.

Apparently wrist and possibly liver. She's researching the liver part and getting back to me.

Still, lumbar and wrist support. Two chronic problems for me.
