my "weekend"

hypatia42My weekend now consists of Sunday and Monday. Its good to have two days off together to do with as I please. Even if they don't both coincide with everyone else's.
Sunday I got up early after staying up late. Not the optimal amount of sleep but getting up is a good habit to get into and stay into none the less. Cleaned the house up, ran errands, and prepared the house for guests. Had several people over to paint nails. krkhst was among them. I never get to see her and she was here for several hours. Sadly her roomies did not get to come due to being out of town. The Ex made it over and had enough time to paint his own toes before he had to leave again. ingridsummers came over with her daughter and one of her daughter's friends. I got to use a color on friend that I have never used before. It is a really dark purple. It looks black on me. And I'm not so much with the black fingernails. Both daughter and friend were very good with the painting process. Even mostly good with the waiting until they are dry process. They then ran outside to get dirty and scream in the backyard. :)
After painting was done for the day I went over to PIC's house for some serious nuthin-ing. We did a really good job. Watched cartoons until I tucked him in at 9:15. :) Its been a while since I have been able to do that.
Today I awoke when the Honey was leaving. Checked all the appropriate mail and lj-ness. I organized the house a bit. Did most of my daily chores. Made food things happen. Picked up the rest of my books from school. Had a two+ hour appt for my chiro stuff at school. Went to work for two hours to give MGR a break. Came home to the Honey and and evening at home. He grilled steaks and veggies on the charcoal grill and we had a fire in the fire pit. It was really nice to sit there into the evening and just feel the fire.
I've made my lunch for tomorrow. All I have left to do is find a three ring binder for my other set of class notes. I feel like I am in a much better place to attend school than I was when I left last time. I was done. But I was not a particularly good student at the end. I'm feeling good about this. Classes finally start tomorrow. :)
