What film speed and exposure levels did you have to use to capture the motion that well?

Film speed was 400, cause that is what I had. Aperture was wide open and the shutter was set on bulb with a hand held plunger that I guessed at timing for. I didn't have a tripod so I sat in a chair, propped my elbows on my knees and held my breath during the exposures. I'm good at hand holding for long exposures anyway so that helped.

Thanks.

He's got nice form, as the tracers will tell. He's got the bug, all we need now is the equipment.
