hypatia42I have a very rational desire to see the house across the street accidentally burn down. I need it to not be arson. It needs to be an accident and it needs to not spread to any other house. It should also happen while the owners are away and no one will get hurt. *sigh*
The occupants of that house are single-handedly reducing the property value of this area. PIC identifies it as, "Oh that drug house across the street?" Yep, that's the one. I just witnessed a half an hour of screaming in the street. That was just the part that I witnessed. Sad thing is it wasn't even people that live there.
I feel bad for my tenants. I told them that this was a reasonably nice area with a bad rep that was going away. Not so much since these people moved in. I wish I could blame it on their race or culture, but that is just an easy out. Too many things have combined to allow this sort of behavior to flourish in our society.
I can say this in a place of calm and understanding. I have no blame or bad feelings for them. I was even able to go outside and weed the front beds while this was going on. Calmly being present and not engaging in their drama. They actually calmed down some while I was out there.
And then the cops showed up and carted them all off to the police station. Everyone except the people that live there that is. :)
