I went to the Dr yesterday at the urgings of the Honey and L.

She says I do not have signs of infection. What I do have is a body that is pissed off at dealing with pollutants it is not used to processing. Systemic irritation. I was prescribed a nasal and an inhaled steriod to help my system finally kick it all out.

I am not allergic to the world, it just pisses off my body...

I thought allergies were a particularly unpleasant body reaction to irritants...

not according to the allergist. Apparently an allergy to them is something that creates an histamine reaction. According to the online definitions it is a hypersensitivity or inappropriate or exaggerated reactions of the immune system to a substance that the general population has no problems with.

I think it is understood that cigarette smoke is an irritant. I can't say I believe that generally people have no problems with it though. I will cop to having a greater than normal reaction to it. G and the Honey did not get this ill.

Sounds like some combination of allergic-style (over)reaction to an irritant and reduced irritant tolerance. What with your other bodily difficulties.
