if you are finding houses that are trapped in a 90s time capsule, you are doing pretty good. I mean, when we were hunting, finding them in the 80s and earlier...and never updated at all were pretty common.

But there was the one we seriously would have put an offer in if (1) it didnt have knob and tube wiring (2) the furniture would have been part of the offer.

The second point was important - bc someone decorated that house iwth love and money in the mid to late 1960s (this mid century modern Mad Men). There was some AMAZING pieces in there. The kitchen was a mix of both horror and fantastic -- it was the late 60s/early 70s burnt orange formica. But the ENTIRE THING. I mean....I have seen some formica in my time, but this was quite literally all the cabinets and counters and even the phone was a built in formica piece....and it was all goddamn impeccible. Like, we all stood there speechless for a few moments.
