Three appts, one day

do not a happy hypatia make. I almost missed the first due to over sleeping. "Luckily" the massage therapist had time to fit me in for 30. I left limping...
The Honey decided we needed mexican taco bar for lunch. That was lovely. Yay Pepitos.
Second appt was an MRI of my brain. They made me take off all my clothes for a pic of my brain. I even wore clothes with no metal in them. They didn't make the guy after me take off all his clothes. Pissy about that. Laying flat on a too narrow board was not fun but not horrible. Laying down MRIs are easier than seated ones. They still feel like taking all my atoms and putting them on agitate, alternately scaring them silly to get an interesting photo...
Home to nap for 45. The Honey napped too then drove me to the last appt.
EMGs can go to hell. I didn't make it through the whole test. To quote the Dr, "I don't think you would be able to tolerate it." Given that I was a shuddering spazming mess of crying snot bubbles I can't find it in me to disagree. I was supposed to get results from my other tests today but he kindly told me that he didn't have the results from the MRI yet and couldn't give definitive answers on this one since the test was incomplete. He did was that the part that did get finished looked normal and what was likely happening was "nerve irritation without damage." The Honey decided that far from having a bad bedside manner, this doc simply didn't have one.
I came home and spent hours in bed. Still in pain now. Even after mac n cheese. Not sure how I will sleep tonight. Pray for me.
