Not going to see Dark Knight was the right decision for my mental state. Seeing Hellboy was nearly enough to get me down. I feel like I need to read but I just can't justify the time that it would take.

Why was Hellboy enough to get me down; I'm tired, I'm recovering, I don't particularly want to go to school these next three weeks, I'm tired of jumping through hoops, other people's hoops at that. I suppose I wouldn't think them hoops if they were mine. I'm scared of not being prepared for starting my own business. I feel like a good employee type person but I know that some of what I have to give as a therapist won't be able to be conveyed in that manner. I hope that people I know will respect my need to set boundaries about my source of income.

I am not a particularly romantic person. This is not really an issue for me. I don't mind and the Honey is even less of a romantic than I am. He's sentimental in surprising ways and I'm spontaneous in flighty ways. Neither of us really wants much fuss about anniversaries or Valentine's Day. We live our love for each other daily. We're both basically practical people. We both pretty much agree that practicality tends to cancel out a lot of romanticism. This is not a bad thing. I guess its better than we both feel this way. At least then one or the other of us isn't wanting something they aren't likely to get. He says he's at 1.5 to 2.5 of 10 depending on the day. I'm at 3.5 to 4.5 maybe 5 even depending on the day. We're pretty happy here.

Pharmacology assistance today. Its probably wearing off at this point. That may be the cause of the down.

I have a malformation of my first metatarsal on both feet. Its called Morton's Foot. The first metatarsal is shorter than the 2nd leaving a distinct callous pattern and a pressure gait that is off from where it should be. The podiatrist I went to all those years ago didn't even tell me. I wonder if he noticed. I also wonder if that is why I tend to walk on the balls of my feet instead of the heels. There is a corrective thing you can do with insoles that theoretically helps the Sx of the condition. I may give it a try.

I feel like I need a warning stamp on my forehead, "FRAGILE"

Just curious here, and not making suggestions in any way, but was it your original plan to start your own massage therapy business once you got out of school? I know that some people in fields like this spend some time working in an existing office to get their "feet wet" as it were, before taking on the additional responsibility of owning/running/managing the business.

Maybe you do need the warning stamp because no one would know that just by looking or talking to you. Seriously.

I have deformed feet too. And its amazed how badly it effects my balance - but at least it good to know that there is a reason why I sometimes quite literally fall over for no apparent reason.

Morton's foot is a common dancer's injury/condition. It can be helped with orthotics, physical therapy and certain stretches. You do,indeed, have dancer body, my dear, and all the resultant injuries. Be assured that this one isn't your fault. "Bananna feet" as we the short and stocky jealously call them, are an asset in some places and a detriment in others, but you can take care of yourself in such a way as to not be hobbled by this. Yes, fibro makes all the old injuries worse. (Talk to my rotator cuff about that!). If you want more specifics on dance injuries, call!

Hey, do you need business identity stuff before I go? Or have you got that covered already?

Not that I couldn't do it for you after I'm in NJ, but if you want to have a face-to-face about it, you got two weeks left. >:-)

Also, work is slow at the moment, so I would have time during the day to get the design done.
