Tired and frustrated. Very little I can do about this at this juncture.

Black "niggas" across the street won't shut up. One has a baseball bat... Joy. Somebody called the cops. Which really means nothing much. I know how this goes. I wish they didn't play so well into the stereotypes. it makes me sad. Wouldn't it be nice to have trank darts.

1am. I suppose its better than the three am from yesterday. Still not a good trend. Sleep has been so very strange lately.

I went to Pi tonight with some friends. I had fun. It has been good to get out and play last night and tonight. I still have homework to get done though. Can't forget to do that as it is due tomorrow at midnight. Hooray for online courses. *sarcasm*

There is one black family on my street. The rest is mostly Mexican with a few white people mixed in. Every one of the Mexicans are fabulous neighbors. Sure they have parties late into the night but its not every night, not every weekend and really not a problem. I don't ever see the few other white people on our block.

The niggas in quotes was because that was the word they were using. I can't tell you what it meant to them but it seemed very important and emotionally charged. There was even a baseball bat involved! Yipee!
