The Honey and I cat-wrangled Anise into the cat carrier so I could take her to the vet. This was a rather traumatic process for both of us. She got subQ fluids. I got a terrible tension headache. I would really be okay if that went away already. Probably didn't help that I was carrying a 8.5lb cat in a cat carrier either.

I remember being told that 7lbs was average for a cat. Vet today called my cat petite... She's not small really. She is smaller than her sister but looks cat sized. I wonder if the local prevalence of Maine Coons has skewed her sample set.

John Denver tribute concert tonight. Should be good.
