May. 30th, 2008 09:25 amHenna has arrived. I now have tools.
The Honey is home and on his day off is working on our hot water heater.
We have to leave sometime today to drive to KC. My little bro's graduation, finally. Its kind of exciting. Little is kind of very wrong when I think of John. 6'5" buff 27 year old. *shakes head* I would not want to meet him in a dark alley unless he was there to escort me through it. Still, he has a great heart. He decided that getting a GED was not enough so he started a program that would get him his high school diploma. The day after he graduates high school he goes into college. Its an EMT program. He wants to start there then apply to firefighters school. He's finally doing something for himself and I am so proud.
MY BOYS!!! My boys are in KC! I may have to take a goodly portion of Sat and go see them, meet my newest godchild(girl this time), generally take some stress off mom and dad, meet dad!, and other catching up stuff. There are a few people at school that are confused by my excitedness about children when I have none of my own. I have so many of my own that I just couldn't wish for more. They allow me to be soft still since they aren't mine by birth. That allows me the connection with all of them. I need to get a picture book so I show off all my kids. I have missed out on a lot in the past two years with the boys being in NV. I've missed them growing up into young men. That makes me sad. I am looking forward to meeting the new thems. Seeing how our relationship changes. I think the first thing they are gonna ask me is, "Where is Michael?" I know where I rate. I am not the ticklemonster/junglegym/lightbringer.
