Ah mornings
Aug. 22nd, 2007 06:42 amTook the Honey to the airport this morning. The oil change light came on in my car. Put it on the list of things to do in the next three days. Today would likely be the best day to do this.
Also on the list is finding out when my immunizations were last. The school wants to know. I can get a notary public to sign with me saying that I am a conscientious objector to the immunizations, which I am. That seems a bit shady though since I know I have had them. I just don't think they have really done me any good. I know my immune system.
One of the wonderful things about being up so early is the view. I love how the world looks on a cool day just after dawn. Thick fog banks rolling out of the water that is ever-present here. Even more so with all the rain we've had recently. It softens all the edges and gives an ethereal quality to the world. What fey do you see walking around in that place between the worlds where night and day mix? Where water and air mix? Those places where the veil is thin call to me. I want to play there. To know that my edges have grown soft and ethereal.
