I walked between 4.5 and 5 miles today. Not really sure which as I didn't keep really good count of the number of laps I did. Podling is a godsend. Bopping along to my tunes, getting funny looks from other people at the Mall, my boss thinking I'm crazy. He actually asked me if I spent all my free time at the Mall. I said, "No, I have friends. Its just that most of them have day jobs."

Before going to the Mall to walk I mailed some stuff to the Honey in CO. I thought all post offices had copy machines. I was wrong. I needed to copy a couple of pages from the score book and send to him so he could enter stats. I had to go to a copy store after stopping at the local post office and not being able to get things done. Huh. Then it turns out that the post office near the airport has a copy machine. Doh! Noted for the future.

After the Mall I went to the Den of Temptation *cue scary music* Uncle Hugo's. Previously referred to as the Geek Den I believe. I went in with a bag of books and came out with four I have not read and do not own yet! Woot! Having spent no money. In fact I still have a $4.80 something credit.

I am now going upstairs to watch movies. Cause I can.

Up tomorrow? Possibly a trip to the pool!

Apparently the bit of rain we got spurred a lot of things to bloom. I am sneezing and runny nose. Oy, the inside of my head burns. I imagine I'm awfully puffy too. Its odd to me how ethereal I start to look when these sorts of things are going on in my head. Usually I'm very of the *here* despite the space case problem.

Kiki's Delivery Service was lots of fun.

Time to put out the recycling and the trash. No way I'll be up in the morning to do it.

Storm clouds tease. Lighting and thunder, heavy winds but without the promised rain. Will they release their burden? Or carry it on to other places?

Ah there it is. The gentle wash to begin. Then the downpour wind lashing the rain against the windows. Whipping the trees into a frenzy. The sky lit up into frightening colors. The house rumbles, light fixtures shake, window panes rattle. The world speaks. Even when we are gone, she will still be here, there will still be storms.

The ground inhales, expands itself to hold its prize. Blessed moisture gone too long. The true elixir of life.
