*squee* Happy! I passed!

I went this morning to the DMV. I know that would not normally elicit the response above but it was influenced my several things.

A: all the necessary paperwork was in hand when I left the house the second time. (the first time was a misstart and should be considered as such)
B: the lady behind the counter didn't want anything from me I didn't have! (much coolness from her)
C: I had book in had to read while waiting for the dude the recognize my existence after taking the test.
D: said dude was way awesome once aknowledgment happened. (we talked, we joked, he had a personality. neat in anybody but a DMV'r? Wow)
E: for the first time in the history of my driver's licenses I think I might have a picture that I won't look forward to getting rid of.

The *only* bad thing about the experience at all was that the screen for taking the test was at breast height so I had to squinch down and duck under the hood of the thing to be able to see the screen properly.

So my new driver's License will be ot ther new format but it'll take three weeks to get here!! In MO you get it while you're standing there at the counter. Lazy *grumblegrumble* dammit.

So yeah, ther other day I was shopping with the honey. He looks down and says "Can't tell I'm shopping with you. Five different kinds of cheese in here." That sums it up pretty well.

So what am I having for dinner as we speak? Cheese and crackers, port wine with a nice cheddar base, Cheesy corn bake from the Jack Stack recipe, and grilled ham and cheese. Mmmmmm.
