Singing

So I didn't make it into One Voice. Too many sopranos auditioned for the two spots they had available. And it was not my best audition ever, not the worst but definitely not the best. The artistic director encouraged me to try out again as it was likely that I would have gotten a spot had there been any more.

I need to sing more I think. If anybody hears about groups needing people or open community choirs please let me know. Maybe some voice coaching would benefit after all these years of not singing much. Its not like I had much formal trainging to begin with.

Well, shit. :-( I thought she said she was short on soprano candidates, but maybe she said that before the first audition night. I didn't see any sopranos other than you the other night.

There's always some attrition in any season; please do come back and audition in February. And this time you'll have more prep time. :-)
