Tanning and eclipses

I should probably not go tanning at 9pm. Wow.

It occurred to me that my self discovery and decision about job situation was made round about the time of the solar eclipse and that my communicating my needs with my boss happened on the day of the lunar eclipse. Huh...

Hmm indeed...

Oh honey! Do you have to tan? I love you pale.

I have tanned the entire time you have known me. I do it regularly because if I don't, I have scary low Vit D levels. I also supplement with Vit D.

I am headed to Greece this fall too. I do not want to be crispy while there. I know that is far more detrimental to my skin than slowly building up a base that would protect me from it.

No fear, I'm not going dark bronze. Just trying to protect myself.

I hope you've visited an endocrinologist. Scary low vit D levels are linked to thyroid trouble. I don't want you blindsided by anything, as I was.

I had to get tested for thyroid issues when they were looking for something wrong with me. Apparently low vit D is common in fibro patients.

I haven't been to an endocrinologist. I am scheduled for a rheumatologist in Sept.
