cat characteristics

A very lovely becoming friend of mine asked me today why I said I was a cat. I found my ability for words left when I tried to answer her. Anyone who knows me well enough to know that part of me, can you give me words? Can you help me describe what I mean when I say I am a cat?

How you move.

Things you think - you want to curl up in the sun, related notions; you value things and people that way, as well. This includes your independence.

You meow. And you do it before thinking of it as an alternative to speech, and when you are at a loss for words because it feels expressive.

You value people and things the way that cats do.
ex: If you like someone, you want them to do nice things for you, and you enjoy doing things that feel good around/with them. If someone is bugging you, you drop them and leave or getting your hackles up and do the equivalent of hiss.
It's an attitude thing.
