Do you mean pack things a different way to see which is more efficient? I do that all the time.

Nono, taking things out and putting them on in combinations I am likely to wear them in.

Aaah. Yep, I do that. Usually to pare down what I'm going to take, because usually things look different once they're on than they do in my head.
