hmm

I could be wrong but I think the Honey has been traveling too much. I believe he is griping about being moved to a "less cushy" first class seat...

Alright, he's really griping about someone with his name being on a watch list and thus he can't change his seat like he wants to, after he was upgraded to a less cushy first class seat...

Color me amused.

*Edit I know he's been traveling too much. See comments*

Actually, the complaint was about not being able to select the option to not be upgraded. 5F on an Airbus A320 is much better than 1C if one is trying to sleep. 5F = Basically an exit row seat without the exit row responsibilities + a seat that is not 2-3 inches lower than any other seat = knocked the 'eff out [livejournal.com profile] mike_l by 6:45 AM.

If only the Northwest planes I flew on had the headrests that folded in like they do on Frontier or some of the United planes. *sigh*

Northwest is made of fail, IMHO. Had a nasty flight to Detroit back in .. 2000? that soured me. Oddly enough, I'm in Detroit right now too. Weird.

I'm kinda stuck. Our "preferred carrier" is United. I was appalled at how rude the employees that I ran into were. Needless to say, it only took a couple of flights before I started taking Northwest whenever I could. From a friendliness and comfort perspective, I actually prefer Frontier. The only problems with that is you have to go through Denver for most, if not all, flights and the fact that they are in bankruptcy right now. Comfy seats and in-flight DirecTV for a small fee. Reach status with them and you get free booze and DirecTV.

Yeah, when you know THIS much about airlines and their seats, you need to stay out them a bit more!
