fruit of my garden

I just harvested two tomatoes, about the size of large English walnuts. It makes me happy. I'm thinking that I should slice one up and try it just to see if my taste buds have changed their minds. Hot out of the sun, can't get better right?

*edit* experiment failed. still yuck. not spit it out yuck but still...

I couldn't eat raw tomatos until I was in my mid 30s. I thoght they were yucky.

Well, I'm 30. It doesn't work yet. Actually more worrisome than the flavor/texture was the resultant stomach uckiness. Which still lingers. *blech*

Maybe you're allergic to nightshades?

I eat red sauce just fine. If I am its seriously low grade irritation. I don't eat too many of them overall. Just don't like them all that much.

Have you tried them with just a tiny bit of salt sprinkled on them? That makes all the difference in the world for me between UUUUUUUUUGH and OMNOMNOM.

I did know this trick and applied it before trying them.

Then I am sad that it did not work for you. :(
