Wed evening thoughts

Looking down at these cream cords I would not have considered them to be too tight. Several comments over the course of the evening as to their tightness makes me think about that. Perhaps *too* tight is not the descriptor. I wore them to clinic and nobody said anything thank heaven. They are comfy, perhaps need to be put into the mental box of "sassy" instead of comfy though. K and G both made comments, not that they looked bad, just that they were tight. They're stretchy. They're supposed to be this way.

Was at Izzy's(ice cream store) this evening. After looking at all the flavors I realized that the colors of my pants really looked like it could be pineapple sorbet and my shirt could be lime sorbet. Its a good thing I'm tan enough from FSG to pull off such light colors. Ah well. As for Izzy's, I still prefer Pumphouse.

BTW, pigtails are fun. Even at clinic.

The Honey is off play baseball and grilling post game this evening. I find I don't really want to go to bed without him. Tonight is the last night in our bed together for... 10 days? 9 or 10, not sure.

I don't know where I am going to go to escape this weekend. I miss The Cave and its pool. I will terribly miss having a real bed to crash in. I don't even know where we will be staying the whole time we're in KC. I should probably work on that.

Already thinking logistics for people visiting come Aug. Grad weekend is going to be hellish I think. The school sponsored grad party is going to be a welcome relief away from the chaos. I welcome this chaos though! It will mean that I am Done! Oh so looking forward to that.

Also looking forward to not needing to sleep all day to feel like I can get up for three hours.

Clinic was awesome. I got to be advocate for a new patient. This means I help and hand hold and support the person through their entire first visit to the clinic. I am good at this. I hope I get to do it again.

I really liked the experience. Holding space for someone in need. It did work well for me and my skill set.
