Question time

I offered pets and hugs to a friend who is ill today. He told me that would be not so good and idea right now. The Honey has to be left alone to sweat out all the evil. I am seeing a trend in which I am completely not participating. Thus the question;

Am I the only person in the world that wants loves and pets when I am seriously ill?

Meh, it really depends on the illness. Flu makes me achy and miserable, and I don't want to be touched/talked to. If I'm camped out on the toilet, I don't really expect anybody to come up and pet me, either... but a cold, regular fever, hypothetical broken bone? Sure, bring on the touch therapy!
