I have a formal dance to go to in less than two weeks. I need help with what to wear with my dress. I will likely need to plan a shopping trip to obtain articles of clothing to go with this. *sigh* Disadvantage being that the dress is going to be in alteration state until just before the dance itself.

How does one get shoes and wrap type things for a dress that you don't have to compare to?

Do you have the dress already? Or you still picking out? Do you know the shade or the way the material feels or falls if you can find those out finding shoes and a wrap will be plausible i volunteer to help go shopping if you want? I am in that in between stage so i can't buy anything for me because its pointless but i have longed for retail therapy so let me know.

The dress is covered in pins and in a closet that is hidden over at the G's house. The dress is kinda dark red/maroon.
