yes folks it is that time of year again. The time when Amy is much more functional after dark. The time of year when it's hot enough outside during the day that she needs to be one of three things; underground, underwater, or asleep.

*sigh* If I could manage the underwater more often that would be lovely. Do you think you can manage that universe?

Is there lots of water in Fargo? Or is it just too cold there to want to be in water a lot?

It's so flat that if you get a lot of water the city floods. During this last series of rain storms two weeks ago they had to put the dirt dike up to protect downtown Fargo. Many streets get closed because the of the standing water. It can be a nightmare.

Oh wow. I went snorkeling once in Jamaica. Talk about an ecstatic experience.

Imagine seeing the same stuff, but being totally weighltess while you do it. Imagine being able to move effortlessly in all directions including up and down. Imagine being able to hover above whatever surface is below you. Imagine real encounters with wild animals in thier native habitat. Imagine being face to face with a 15 foot manta ray.

That will change your attitude pretty damned fast.

Well, if you're going to be more active after dark, you'll probably need your flashlight. You left it on the table at Turtle Hill; I brought it home with me. Micki has it, since she's going to see you before I will.

And how the hell did you get it that dirty? I had to wrap it in plastic before packing it, because I didn't want it to touch my clean clothes. Bleah. :-P
