A lot of people I know are pretty upset about the privacy changes in LJ. I gotta say I'm not really familiar with what the changes mean. I have mostly been using DW and having it cross post for a while now. Other than where the servers are hosted, can someone tell me what the changes mean to me?

Total prohibition of posting anything regarding politics, unless previously discussed with Administration; the user grants allowance to Administration to use any of his content as Administration finds comfortable, including posting it to another sources with "corrected" or otherwise changed text originally written by the author; user that posted text and acquired 3000 and more visitors to this page now is responsible of any comment left by anyone as much as this anyone, according to Russian Federation law, and must also fill a special form that will include his name and fiscal information (if I understood it right).
And, Administration proclaims its right to place as much advertising as possible, on any page of user's journal with no control whatsoever from user's side, and also is ready to send advertising to user's e-mail as much as they want to.

I hope you enjoyed it :)

Re-read your agreement with Dreamwidth, there are funny moments there, too :)
